I have chosen the third layout because I'd like the main image to be the focal point of the front cover. This is because I want to sell the magazine for the articles and main artists rather than free giveaways, and I think this would appeal to my audience seeing as most people put down 'pictures and photographs' as answers on the questionairre.
I think the others would look too organised and plain for a teenage rock magazine, and that the second would offer a messy look which is my intention accross the whole magazine.
