These are my best 6 font ideas for the name of my magazine on the front cover. I've used a pink/black/white/green colour scheme because green and pink contrast and are very in your face, the white helps break up the harshness of all of the colours together and the black makes the edges of the font stand out. The pink also has connotations of a female audience. The bright colours are fun and therefore will appeal to a teenage audience.

I have written all of these in capital letters like KERRANG! so it has connotations of a loud genre of music. I have chosen fonts that are bold and easy to read, bute each are quite feminine with the odd rounded edge.

This is my final font, it's called Rosewood std. this is also my final colour scheme choice whcih I will keep accross the whole magazine as part of my house style. I have chosen this one because it reminds me of the circus/fairground which is fun, crazy and loud with appeals to the teenage audience. There's small details in the middle of the font which will appeal to my female target audience too.
The name is written in capital letters to emphasise the fact that the magazine is loud and bold and fresh. I've used pink and green because they clash, but they're fun and bright.
I've chosen to use a fade effect around each letter because it makes the text less in your face, and it seems dreamy which will again appeal to a more female audience. The black shadowing will then bring the name of the magazine forward from the main image of the front cover.
